OPS were conducted in the following areas: Honeydew, Randparkridge, Wilgeheuwel and Sundowner.
TRT Members:Andrew, Allan, Charl, Colin, Ivan, Jono, Jono, Lance, Martin, Paul & Ryan
On the 15th May 2014 at 03:00am, the above TRT Members met at the Londoloza Head Quarters and departed at 03:15am to conduct the following operations:
Jackal Creek:
A full perimeter check of the estate was done by the TRT Unit and found to be all in order.
A search was conducted on a construction site in the Wilgeheuwel area and 43 illegal immigrants were found, and they were all transported to Honeydew police station to be charged.
Standoff Kelly Rd Boskruin:
Armed Robbery Boskruin:
One of the TRT members received a call from someone, requesting medical assistance as an old lady had just been armed robbed in Boskruin an ambulance and the TRT Unit were dispatched to assist. The area was cordoned off by the SAPS, SAPS helicopter, TRT Members and other Security Companies. Three of the four suspects were arrested by the river at President Fouche Dr. The three suspects were then transported back to Honeydew Police Station and were charged for armed robbery.
House Breaking in Progress:
A client of Londoloza called our controlroom to report a breaking in progress, at one of the complexes behide Eastern Lane in Wilgeheuwel saying that the suspect is climbing over the perimeter wall with a flat screen TV. The Londoloza Control Room dispatched the TRT Unit. Between the SAPS, SAPS helicopter and the TRT Unit they searched the entire area but the suspect was nowhere to be found.
Next TRT operation will be conducted next week.
